@toddsundsted Hasn't this always been true to a degree? VHosts on IRC, vanity email forwards, or grabbing a subdomain from a friend's cool domain and pointing it to whatever webspace you could scramble together.
On the other hand, is it so different than having your blog on your domain over going to Medium?
