Today we're waiting for an IKEA delivery that, according to their email, will be a 10x10x10 cm box weighing 14 kg.

So density-wise that has to contain berkelium, californium, protactinium, tantalum, uranium, gold, tungsten, plutonium, neptunium, rhenium, platinum, iridium, or osmium.

We're of course hoping for platinum, and really not for plutonium, because the critical mass is 11 kg...

One of these days where you keep misreading words everywhere every couple of minutes and it's still funny after the dozenth time. Especially when reading toots.

McDonald’s used to have its own R&D organization, McD Tech Labs. It sold this to IBM in 2021 and then bought back IBM’s services to run an AI drive-through ordering service — using machine learning voice recognition. [Press release; Restaurant Business]…

Everyone's tired of the standard test values you make up by writing English words in hex, like 0xDEADBEEF, or 0xDEFACED, or 0xC0FFEE.

But if you're writing in C or C++, you can get a few slightly less familiar ones by making use of the U, L, UL, LL or ULL suffixes on integer literals. 0xBA5EBALL, 0xDAFF0D1L, 0xDECE17FUL.

Or maybe you think those are still boring? Then just stick with 0xDULL.

So ...let's face it. A LOT of folks in tech circles are somewhat amazed a fully #blind person can even find the power button on a computer, let alone operate it professionally. I am such a person, and I'd like to bust that myth.
It's also true that many #hacking tools, platforms, courses etc. could use some help in the #accessibility department. It's a neverending vicious circle.
Enter my new twitch channel, IC_null. On this channel, I will be streaming #programming and #hacking content including THM, HTB and who knows what else, from the perspective of a #screenReader user.
What I need, is an audience. If this is something you reckon you or anybody you know might be interested in, drop the channel a follow or share this post. Gimme that #infoSec Mastodon sense of comradery and help me out to make this idea an actual thing :) twitch.tv/ic_null #tryHackMe #streamer #selfPromo

I think if I was a YouTube influencer the first thing I'd do is create a makeshift normal-size mic holder. Those tiny things held with 2 fingers just look ridiculous.
